By car:
- A1 motorway-> exit Firenze sud -> exit towards Ponte a ema / Greve / Siena-> follow the signs for Grassina, after the inhabited center turn left for San Polo, then turn left for Villa di Mondeggi and take the dirt road on the right.
- Junction Firenze-Siena-> exit Firenze Impruneta-> take A1 motorway towards Roma-> exit Firenze Sud-> exit towards Ponte a ema / Greve / Siena-> follow the signs for Grassina, after the inhabited center turn to left for San Polo, then turn left for Villa di Mondeggi and take the dirt road on the right.
By bus:
from Florence Santa Maria Novella station take bus number 17 (or walk for 15 min.) to Piazza San Marco. from here you can take two buses:
- (RECCOMENDED) line 32 towards Antella > get off at the terminus > turn right towards Balatro > head uphill onto via di Pulicciano > walk 20 minutes past Balatro> enter Via di Mondeggi which you will find on the left.
You have arrived! Continue straight on the unpaved road for 5 minute and you will find Casa Cuculia.
- line 31 towards Grassina > get off at the capoline and reach the “Grassina 02” stop at 10m > take bus number 49 towards San Polo > get off at the “Castel di ruggero” stop (Capannuccia) > walk on “via di Tizzano” (SP56) towards East for 100 meters > turn left on via di Mondeggi > The asphalt ends, follow the dirt road uphill passing “Base Antincendi Boschivi”.
You have arrived to Casa Ranieri! Turn left, continue uphill for 3 minutes and you will find Casa Cuculia.
